The ISM Band is internationally reserved for Instrument Scientific and Medical purposes other than normal telecommunications. Recently reviewed a schematic and layout for a client involved in creating a 2.4 GHz wireless link in the ISM band.

Did an RF analysis of the band by checking signal density in the band.  Below is a stitching of the band spectrum 2405MHz to 2485 MHz.  The green line is a 5 minute peak hold.

Checked prototype transmitter output levels.

The client was very pleased to see that their prototype was performing well with external antenna.
